I am the Chief Technology Officer at a company called, PolicyCheck, Inc.  We built an application called AnnuityCheck that works to help advisors help retirees have more money in retirement.  The application as been a huge success, and that is where I spend most of my time.

My background is as a programmer, I graduated from Northern Arizona Uni, and have spent my life working with or around computers.  My first ‘real’ job out of college was working with the International Rescue Committee. I managed a database called Efforts to Outcomes, it was designed specifically for non profits.  After that I did some freelance work, helping a doctor with a behavioral program, and a small manufacturer with creating a seriously better tracking system for their products.

Finally while hanging out with a friend, her father asked me about helping him solve a problem that required technical skills.  The solution to the problem started this entire journey to creating the software that I mentioned at the beginning of all this, AnnuityCheck.

As you might of figured, this blog is dedicated to the musing and discoveries that occur over the course of a lifetime.  I primarily work in Python and Javascript, so the blog will be focused on that indeed.  Though who knows what to expect!
